The statistics on ministry leaders isn’t good. 50% drop out within five years. 60% feel discouraged, stressed and fatigued. 70% say that they do not have a close friend and have lower self-esteem now than when they entered ministry. 80% feel that ministry has negatively impacted their family life. Only one out of ten who start out in ministry will retire in ministry. Covid-19 made these Barna research and Pepperdine University statistics even worse.
